DESCRIPTION

DEAD OR ALIVE 2. Pick your fighter from any of 12 characters, each with his or her own fighting style. You can choose from among wrestlers, kick boxers, and a whole host of other specialties. Each fighter will have special moves that could mean the difference between victory and defeat. The battles will be taking place in nine amazingly realistic arenas, including the Elevator, the Cathedral, the Arctic Plains, and the Japanese Gardens. Just keep your eyes open for the danger zones, which will do more damage than your opponent.

Test all your skills on these four modes: Story, Time Attack, Survival, Team Battle, Sparring, Versus and Tag Battle, and unlock secret characters and arenas. Just remember, in the battle arena only one can emerge victorious.

Alternate Hairstyles

When selecting Kasumi, press Circle to set her hair as a loose ponytail or X to set it as a braid. This works with any costume. Kasumi's will always appear as a loose ponytail when you select her, but during the actual fight it will change to your choice.

When selecting Helena, press X to make her hair its original, long length, or Circle to make it slightly shorter. This will work with any costume, and the difference will only appear during the actual fight.

Alternate Stage Positions

Press Square when choosing White Storm, Demon's Church, Crimson, Burai Zenin, or Dragon Hills at the stage selection screen to change the starting position in those locations.
Alternate Stage Time


Press Circle when choosing the Aerial Garden or Iron Hell at the stage selection screen to change when the match occurs.
Big Head Mode


After beating the game with any girl character, go to the Start Menu. Press and hold X, Circle, Square, Triangle and Up. You will hear a sound and then be able to play the game in Big Head mode!

Control the Victory Cam


To Control the camera while your character is doing the victory pose, press the green triangle button. You can use the the control pad to move the camera up, down, ect. and use the square button to zoom in and the circle button to zoom out.

Deluxe Credits

Finish the game with every character in Very Hard Mode. This will allow you to view the Deluxe version of the Credits.

It contains new music, credits from every Dead or Alive Development team and Website Banners for fan websites.
Extra 'Bounce'


In the 'Other' menu under 'Options' you can enter your age. This determines how 'bouncy' the girls are. The higher your age, the more 'bounce' you'll see during the game.
New outfits


You have to win in NORMAL level to get the first two outfits. Then you must win in HARD level to get the next two outfits. And then you have to win in VERY HARD level to get the final two outfits.
Random Tag Mode Opponents


Highlight "Tag mode" and press Start to randomize the CPU's tag team members and costumes.
Unlimited Lives


Hold R2 at the Main Menu and press X and Triangle. When you start a new game and you will have unlimited lives.
Unlock Bayman

Complete Story Mode with every character or complete Story Mode using any combination of characters 30 times.

Unlock Tengu


Collect 10 stars in Survival Mode or play as any combination of characters more than 200 times.
